Welcome to my blog!

I would like to start off by saying how thankful I am in
taking interest in my page and hope
the content of my blog will be reflected upon with enthusiasm.

I am a 22 year old history student currently working on my bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I was born and raised in a village near Tarnow, Poland roughly a 100km east of the beautiful city of Krakow. When I was ten years old and barely began third grade, my family immigrated to Chicago where I continued to live until I moved closer to my university in August of 2012. Throughout my teenage years, I developed a passion for photography. As a gift for my confirmation, I was rewarded with first very own SLR camera. Ever since, photography played a major role in my life not only as a hobby, but also became my main source of income.

In the summer of 2008, I was introduced to a current dear friend of mine who spent her free time traveling and writing about her experiences. After getting to know one another, she poisoned me with the disease so called “desire to travel”. I viewed the world as a master piece and developed a desire to explore its beauties.

The idea of creating a blog came when a friend of mine asked to share some of my photos from a previous trip. After having to search for them in my archives (a box of CDs), I took several hours to look through them and finally decided to somehow share them with people who will appreciate my glimpse of the world.
